The Education Foundation of Martin County has hit the ground running after their selection as one of the 2023 Impact Grant recipients at our Grant Awards Celebration on March 29. CEO, Lisa Rhodes and team have already visited four of our local middle schools to talk about the foundation’s initiative to get the career labs in all middle schools before the start of the school year. They met with principals and toured potential lab locations on each campus to make sure they have just the right space with plenty of elbow and storage room, access to water, and lots of electrical outlets. They also shared the project details with principals and discussed the different career cluster modules.

Because of your continued support of Impact100 Martin and our mission, the Education Foundation of Martin County was able to launch two labs! They have secured funding for a third and are working on the remaining $20,000 balance needed for the fourth school. With some hard work and a little luck, they hope to have a lab in all of our traditional public middle schools by the start of next school year. Lisa Rhodes said, "We are so excited to be getting started! What an amazing opportunity for the kids! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

  • Why Members are asked to Donate $1,100?

When a member contributes $1,100 for membership in Impact100 Martin, $1,000 goes to grants, and the additional $100 goes to cover The Community Foundation of Martin-St. Lucie's expenses in providing grant-making expertise as well as Impact100 Martin’s administrative expenses.

  • I want to go green!

Just as there are evergreen trees that keep our environment vibrant whatever the season, there are Impact100 Martin members whose dedication supports our community year after year. By knowing the number of returning members we can count on each year, we can focus on recruiting new members and keep our grant pool growing.

Declaring your commitment to be an Evergreen member is easy! Either agree to annually renew on your Impact application or check “Evergreen” in your Member Profile. Evergreen members agree to fulfill the $1,100 membership on their anniversary date each year. No auto-renewal credit card information is required, only your agreement to renew every year.

Declare your commitment to be an Evergreen Member by clicking “yes” when updating your Member Portal Profile.
